Role Summary
The Department of Communities invites application for a Community Youth Support Worker at Level 2/4. This role involves working as part of Target 120, a collaborative early intervention program that addresses the complex needs of at‐risk young people and their families to prevent escalating offending behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
* Identifying and building relationships with at‐risk children, young people, and their families to increase their safety and wellbeing.
* Providing support and advice to the Community Youth Officer to assist in increasing safety and wellbeing for at‐risk children, young people, and their families who are open cases with the Department of Communities.
* Building relationships with children, young people, and families to promote routine and stability in the home and assist in providing supports and services that increase safety and wellbeing.
Recruitment Process
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made for this or similar future vacancies (fixed term or permanent) that arise within the next 12 months across the Department of Communities.
