LRM Fire & Rescue is seeking a proactive Logistics Scheduler to support our growing operations across South-East Queensland, Central Queensland, Southern NSW and ACT. With our base of operations in Caboolture, this hands-on role suits someone who thrives in a high tempo environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in keeping people and resources moving efficiently to support our operations being conducted concurrently throughout multiple regions. You'll work closely with our team to plan, coordinate, and deliver logistics support for operational planned burning and response programs.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate personnel (operational bush firefighters), vehicles, and equipment across regions – scheduling to fill multiple burn teams conducting regular planned works concurrently
· Support burn programs, deployments, and field campaigns administratively
· Schedule inventory, fuel, and consumables including repairs and maintenance of operational plant and equipment
· Prepare logistics plans, reports, and contingency strategies
· Promote consistency and continual improvement in logistics systems
About You
You're an organised, confident, and solutions-focused team player — with excellent communication skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities. You bring:
· Proven experience in scheduling, logistics or related administration within a fast-paced environment (fire management, defence, construction, or operations background well regarded)
· Excellent communication, teamwork and multi-tasking skills
· Highly resilient and confident making decisions under pressure
· Organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities
· Competent in MS Office & 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word)
· Familiar with Safety Culture application (desirable)
· Current Drivers License and Own reliable transport
· National Police Check
