Hays are partnering with a Tasmanian organisation to find a WHS Generalist for a contract position.
Your new role
In this varied and hands-on role, you’ll support both workplace health and safety and broader people functions. You’ll work closely with operational leaders to embed safe work practices and support compliance. In addition to your WHS responsibilities, you’ll also play a key role in recruitment coordination, onboarding new employees, and supporting general HR processes. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to make a meaningful impact across both safety and people functions.
What you'll need to succeed
Along with experience in a WHS or generalist HR role, you will have the ability to build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and manage competing priorities will be essential. Experience with recruitment or onboarding processes will be highly regarded, as will a proactive and adaptable approach to your work.
