The AOS team delivers a harmonised Civil/Military Air Traffic Management System (OneSKY) in Australia to Airservices Australia and Defence, enabling new levels of safety and efficiency and reducing delays for the travelling public.
Your role
The ATM Operational Specialist is a key role for the TopSky-One project and, as part of the AOS team, will help define and deliver a fit-for-purpose data solution to the end-user.
Key Accountabilities
Understand all aspects of TopSky-One subsystems (ATM, BYPASS and SIM)
Identify and evaluate the current process in place and improve co-engineering (tools, way of working, ...)
Work with the team on improving the process & methods to handle all design and development activities
Participate in solution design and work closely with Product Owners and System Engineers
Attend Sprint and Product increment Demo to provide feedback on deliveries
Fully work inside the AOS OPS Team to provide Air Traffic Management experience for CMATS
Populate the dataset for CMATS and be fully part of the Operational Dataset creation for CMATS T&E activities
On day one you will come with
Experience in Air Traffic Control management
Experience in dataset preparation for an ATM system
Knowledge of Australian ATM Domain and Air Traffic Management standards (e.g., ICAO, Eurocontrol, AID)
High level of understanding on dataset / adaptation data goals and impacts
Capability to work with various stakeholders having different objectives
Capability to work in a multi-cultural environment and with a variety of international customers
A Defence security clearance is required for this role.
Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.

In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role.
