* Salary commencing at $85,114.74 per annum, plus 12% superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience

The Opportunity
Moonee Valley City Council has an exciting opportunity for someone to lead the operations of Council's Civic Centre and key Council facilities. The successful candidate will ensure effective coordination of Council's Civic Centre, key Council facilities and associated infrastructure ensuring facilities are well managed, presented, maintained, safe and clean.
Responsibilities
* Manage and undertake necessary operational requirements to ensure the Council's Civic Centre and other Council facilities are safe, comfortable, clean, well presented, operate efficiently and are well maintained at all times.
* Provide supervision and leadership including training, performance management, team work and effective communication.
* Provide guidance on key civic protocols and arrangements and undertake process improvement initiatives to ensure Civic Centre and civic facilities are managed optimally.
* Coordinate all arrangements for Council meetings, Council sponsored functions, Civic functions and other requests at the Civic Centre.
* Manage all room bookings including the set up and pack up of rooms and spaces, multimedia audio-visual other equipment.
* Raise purchase orders and approve invoice payment within the delegation.
Skills & Experience
* Substantial experience in hospitality and/or facility management.
* Understanding of OHS legislation, regulations, policies and practices.
* Proven supervisor and leadership skills.
* Current Victorian Driver's License, First Aid certificate and Responsible Serving of Alcohol certificate.
