What You'll Do
As an Experienced Travel Consultant at PBT, you'll be responsible for providing expert travel advice and booking comprehensive travel arrangements for our clients. This includes cruises, holiday packages, and flights. We need someone with a strong background in retail travel consulting, who excels in customer service and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Consult with clients to understand their travel goals and recommend destinations, packages, and travel options.
Manage end-to-end bookings including flights, accommodation, car hire, activities, and ticketing using Amadeus GDS.
Deliver excellent customer service by handling changes, resolving issues, and suggesting upgrades or additional services.
Create customised travel itineraries that align with client preferences and budgets.
Prepare and manage travel documentation, including tickets, itineraries, insurance, and booking records.
Stay informed on travel trends, destinations, and industry updates to provide accurate advice and recommendations.
Build strong client relationships and maintain supplier partnerships to secure competitive deals and encourage repeat business.
What You'll Be Working On
* Collaborating with clients to craft their perfect travel itinerary.
* Coordinate transportation, reservations, and accommodations on behalf of clients.
* Uphold PBT's reputation as a top-tier travel agency through quality customer service and excellent results.
* Help navigate foreign or domestic travel requirements, such as passports, visas, or vaccinations.
Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience as a travel consultant, specialising in holidays, packages, and flights.
* Proficiency in Amadeus GDS and ticketing.
* Preferably experienced with Tramada.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and sales skills.
* Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
