About the role
We are seeking a driven Electrical Supervisor to play a key role in the safe and efficient delivery of sustaining capital projects. Working within Asset Management, you will lead and support contractors and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
In this hands‐on role, you will be involved across the full project lifecycle, from planning and procurement through to construction, commissioning, and handover. You will coordinate stakeholders, manage contractor performance, and ensure all activities align with project scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities
* Preparing scopes of work, tender documentation, and procurement packages
* Coordinating vendor data, technical queries, and bid evaluations
* Reviewing engineering designs and ensuring constructability
* Supervising and managing construction activities and work packs
* Overseeing contractor compliance across safety, quality, and performance
* Supporting commissioning, operational readiness, and handover processes
* Driving strong HSE outcomes and identifying risks across all activities
About you
You are an experienced Electrical professional with strong project supervision capability and a passion for delivering safe, high‐quality outcomes in complex environments. You bring a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to build effective working relationships across multiple stakeholders.
To be successful, you will have:
* An Electrical Trade Qualification (engineering or project management qualifications highly regarded)
* Proven experience supervising and delivering capital projects
* Exposure to surface and underground mining, ore processing, or heavy industry environments
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement capability
