ABOUT THE ROLE
As Business Development Representative for Assistive Technology, you will take ownership of driving business growth across Queensland, focusing on the later stages of the sales cycle. You will be passionate about new business and enjoy engaging with customers, working with our team of trusted advisors to deliver product solutions that enable safe, dignified, and effective care.
This client-focused and strategic role contributes to sustainable growth through sales excellence, exceptional service, and trusted client relationships, positioning you as a key resource shaping the Assistive Technology market in Queensland.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Follow-up:
Own the estimate follow-up to conversion cycle, confidentially engaging with customers by phone or in person to close opportunities while laying a foundation for long-term relationships.
* Business Development:
Engage with existing and prospective customers to gather market feedback, identify new leads, schedule strategic appointments, and implement strategies to expand accounts and grow territories. Create new business opportunities through every interaction.
* Account Management:
Build and sustain strong customer relationships to transform one-time clients into long-term partners. Conduct regular check-ins, support strategic account planning, deliver continuous value, and maintain accurate records in the CRM to track pipeline and performance.
* Equipment Consultant:
Support showroom visits and product demonstrations as required, providing expert guidance and tailored solutions to customers.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
* Experience:
3+ years in sales/business development with a track record of driving growth, achieving targets, and successfully converting opportunities.
* Healthcare Knowledge:
Familiarity with healthcare or home care products sales preferred.
* Worker Screening:
Must hold COVID vaccination and Driver's License; willing to obtain NDIS Clearance, Police Check, and Blue Card.
* Respectful & Professional
: Well-presented, strong communicator, committed to ethical client interactions that build trust and rapport.
* Consultative Approach:
Comfortable with the uncomfortable, empowered to ask hard questions, and skilled at addressing customer concerns to guide solutions and close opportunities.
* Adaptability:
Ability to manage multiple priorities and accounts while adjusting to changing customer needs.
