Launch is excited to be working with one of Victoria's leading regulators working to prevent harm from pollution and waste. We are looking for a passionate HR Business Partner to join the team in a 12 month fixed term role, with possibility of converting to perm.
**The Role**
The successful HR Business Partner is a senior member of a team responsible for human resources business partnering, and building organisational capacity, capability, and an inclusive culture throughout the organisation
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage the allocated resources, budgets, contribute to business and project planning and reporting; and demonstrate strong commitment to a positive culture and the development of staff.
- Facilitate a range of HRM initiatives including workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, wellbeing, and culture change.
- Drive the implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures based on relevant legislation and contemporary human resources management practices which enable people leaders to establish a high performing, safe and inclusive workplace culture.
- Operate as a strategic partner to facilitate HRM initiatives such as workforce planning, ER and performance management
**About You**
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in human resources management, preferably within Government.
- Knowledge and skills in a diverse range of human resources specialties such as selection techniques, conflict resolution, succession planning, change management, employee relations and OHS
- Prior experience contributing and driving cultural change
- A HR degree or similar
