About the Role
This hands‐on role will involve a mix of roof tiling and roof restoration work across residential roofing projects. The ideal candidate will be experienced, reliable, and capable of producing high‐quality workmanship independently and within a team environment.
Essential Experience & Skills
* Roof Tiling – Minimum 3–4 Years Experience
* Strong experience and knowledge in roof batten placement and sarking, cutting roof tiles using a tile cutter, laying roof tiles, bedding and pointing
* Roof Restoration – Minimum 2–3 Years Experience
* Have experience in replacing broken roof tiles, high‐pressure roof cleaning, ridge pointing, roof painting
Desirable Skills
* Metal roofing experience
* Whirlybird installation
* Lead flashing replacement
What's on Offer
* Full‐time position
* $50 per hour × 38‐hour week
* Early finishes depending on workflow and job completion
* Standard hours approximately 7:30am – 2:30/3:00pm
* No obligation to commence additional roofing tasks once the scheduled job is completed for the day
