Specialist Privacy Lawyer (Senior Legal Counsel) – Join the expanding in‑house legal team of a global company, based in Melbourne.
Requirements
* 6–10+ years PQE as a lawyer
* Specialist privacy, cyber and digital experience
* APAC remit, Melbourne based role
* Familiarity with FMCG, retail and health industries desirable; experience with big data and customer rewards also an advantage.
Responsibilities
Within a 40‑strong in‑house legal team, advise on privacy, digital, cyber and regulatory matters across the APAC market, including interpretation and application of industry‑specific laws and changes to relevant legislation. Support the business's relationships with regulators and provide the leadership team with comprehensive legal advice with a cyber and privacy focus.
