Energy Power Systems Australia (EPSA) is the authorised supplier of Cat power systems across Australia, PNG, and the Solomon Islands, delivering sustainable energy solutions including engines, generators, hybrid systems, and rental solutions for power generators, compressors, and temperature control systems.
We're looking for a Marine Technician – Electrical to join our Marine Excellence Centre in WA. This hands‐on role involves working on complex marine projects from workshop assembly through to commissioning and sea trials.
What you'll be doing
* Build, install, and commission electrical systems for marine power solutions
* Interpret and work from electrical schematics and technical drawings
* Support project delivery, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
* Conduct commissioning on site and in the workshop
* Provide technical support for project tendering and solution design
* Work closely with customers, project teams, and internal stakeholders
What you'll bring
* A-Grade Electrical licence (Australian recognised)
* Experience with generators, power systems or paralleling
* Strong capability in electrical diagnostics and fault finding
* Experience working with customers in a project or field environment
* Ability to manage work independently while contributing to team outcomes
* Flexibility to travel and work across sites as required
* Work on specialised marine projects with real‐world impact
* Exposure to commissioning and offshore/sea trial environments
