Senior Business Development Executive
This role is focused on identifying, developing, and winning new business opportunities by leveraging panel contracts, vendor partnerships, industry insights, and bespoke ICT solutions.
You will play a key part in executing a go-to-market plan for a defined portfolio of new and existing public sector customers, driving growth and presence in critical areas including core Telco services, Cyber Security, Customer Experience, and Modern Workplace transformation.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in public sector sales and be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across some of Queensland's largest government agencies.
* Develop and execute strategic growth plans for groups of State Government agencies.
* Drive new business acquisition and increase market share within the public sector.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior government executives and decision-makers.
* Lead conversations around core Telco services, Cyber Security, Modern Workplace, and Customer Experience.
* Become an expert in integrating Optus product and service offerings to build competitive customer-centric solutions.
* Leverage panel agreements and vendor partnerships to deliver results.
* Collaborate with internal Pre-Sales, Sales Specialists, and Delivery teams for alignment and execution.
