We're looking for an experienced Warehouse & Distribution Manager to lead operations across 4 locations (Caboolture, Capalaba & Nerang & Huntingwood NSW), to drive efficiency, and build a strong, engaged team culture. Interstate travel is required approximately once every six months.
This is a hands‐on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast‐paced environment, values safety and continuous improvement, and knows how to get the best from people while running an efficient operation.
The Opportunity
You'll provide end‐to‐end leadership across multiple warehouse teams, ensuring:
* Operational efficiency and productivity
* Strong safety and compliance standards
* High levels of service to internal and external customers
* A positive, accountable, and improvement‐focused culture
You'll work closely with site leaders to align people, processes, and performance with broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support warehouse teams across four sites, ensuring consistent standards and performance
* Drive productivity, efficiency, and cost control in line with budget and operational targets
* Monitor labour planning, rostering, and base manning to match trading patterns
* Build a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS and legislative requirements
* Improve processes, identify smarter ways of working, and reduce inefficiencies
* Coach, mentor, and develop leaders and team members, including performance management
* Ensure accurate administration, reporting, and documentation
* Support inventory management to meet customer demand while controlling stock levels
* Lead recruitment, training, succession planning, and team capability uplift
* Foster collaboration and clear communication across sites and leadership levels
About You
You're a confident and practical leader who enjoys developing teams and improving operations. You bring a balance of people focus and operational capability.
You'll ideally have:
* Proven experience in warehouse or distribution management, preferably across multiple sites
* A strong focus on culture, engagement, and continuous improvement
* Experience driving efficiency, productivity, and cost control
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Forklift licence (or the willingness to obtain one)
* Experience or a solid understanding of the building, construction, or home improvement industry (highly regarded)
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform in a fast‐paced environment
* A tech‐savvy mindset with solid computer and reporting skills
* Ability to travel interstate when required (approx once every 6 months)
