South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a casual Maintenance/Gardener to participate in the overall maintenance of buildings and gardening duties at SWH campuses in Camperdown; ensuring high quality and safe facilities and services.
This role will involve maintaining all gardening equipment and machinery (mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers) while participating in plant propagation & removal, and performing routine building maintenance duties such as minor painting, electrical repairs, basic plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenance.
What you bring
The successful applicant will have a passion for gardening, landscaping and maintenance work and take pride in ensuring the effective functioning and appearance of South West Healthcare's campuses in Camperdown and Lismore.
Previous gardening and landscaping experience and knowledge of synthetic and natural fertilizers, an understanding of various gardening techniques and equipment, an ability to maintain and service equipment and a general understanding and ability to carry out maintenance duties are important aspects to this role.
