Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of high-calibre matters, our Projects & Energy Transition team in Sydney is looking for a Senior Associate with a background in major projects and a commercial mindset to join our leading practice. In this role, you will work closely with the Partners on a broad range of matters relating to the procurement and delivery of major projects in the construction, infrastructure, resources, transport, and energy sectors.

Responsibilities:
- Assist Partners on a broad range of matters relating to procurement and delivery of major projects in construction, infrastructure, resources, transport, and energy sectors.
- Provide commercial and practical legal advice, support client relationships, and contribute to business development and market engagement.
- Work collaboratively with team members, supervise junior lawyers, and contribute to a positive and high-performing team culture.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 6 years or more post-admission experience in a projects, infrastructure or construction practice area, gained within a reputable firm.
- A proactive, positive and energetic approach with a commitment to providing excellent service and, a desire to interact with the market and build client relationships.
- A commercial approach and an ability to articulate and negotiate effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills.
- The ability to be team-focused, provide leadership and mentoring to the juniors in the team, whilst also work independently.
