Velocity Solar is seeking a customer focused, technically minded Maintenance & Service Advisor to support clients with warranty, repairs and system performance issues. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, communicates clearly, and loves solving complex customer problems.

About the Role
This role combines technical customer service, problem solving, and scheduling coordination within a fast paced environment.
You will:
* Spend around 95% of your day on the phone supporting customers
* Use your technical aptitude to troubleshoot issues and guide customers through next steps
* Multitask across calls, systems, and admin tasks with precision
* Take ownership of challenging or urgent situations with calm professionalism
* Diffuse frustrations and manage expectations when systems aren't working
* Coordinate and schedule maintenance work, ensuring technicians have accurate job details
* Eventually take full ownership of all scheduling for both installations and maintenance
* Use strong problem-solving skills to rebook jobs when things don't go to plan, adjusting schedules quickly and logically
* Communicate changes confidently to both customers and technicians
This is a critical role that requires someone who thrives on structure, logic, and customer outcomes.

* Experience in technical customer service or service advisory roles
* Strong capacity to handle and explain technical information clearly
* Excellent problem-solving ability and calm thinking under pressure
* Outstanding phone communication skills
* High attention to detail while multitasking across systems and tasks
* Confidence in coordinating schedules and rescheduling when things change
* Ability to analyse problems, find solutions, and take initiative
* Skilled at managing difficult conversations and diffusing high stress situations
* Reliable, organised, and committed to high quality work
Experience in solar/electrical is valued, but strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
