Wood is recruiting a Health and Wellbeing Advisor, to join its Operations business supporting our workforce in the APAC region.
Job Description
This role provides strategic oversight and operational support across wellbeing promotion, injury prevention and rehabilitation, and compliance with legislative requirements. It contributes directly to improved employees' health and wellbeing outcomes and drives a greater understanding of the importance of psychosocial health in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and embed the health and wellbeing strategy across the APAC business
* Support the business in understanding psychosocial hazards and controls impacting our workforce
* Liaise with workers compensation insurers and service providers to ensure high-level strategic analysis of claims
* Ensure State or Territory Workers Compensation legislation is adhered to
* Provide strategic advice to Management and Human Resources when fitness for work concerns are raised
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be an Allied Health Professional or have experience in occupational health and rehabilitation for oil, gas and energy sectors.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team
* Knowledge of both health and business principles to balance safety with productivity
* Understanding of relevant health and safety regulations
* Well-organised with proven experience delivering actions
