Requirements
* Must hold a valid White Card
* Must have a Cert 3 in carpentry
* Previous experience in luxury residential builds, renovations, and extensions preferred
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Strong attention to detail and problem‐solving skills
* Excellent communication and time‐management skills
* Must be physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
* Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
Key Responsibilities
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
* Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
* Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings and trim
* Inspect and repair damaged structures and fixtures
* Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organised work area
* Communicate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
* Provide guidance and support to apprentice carpenters
* Keep up‐to‐date with industry trends and techniques
* Adhere to company policies and procedures
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum of 12 months experience as a carpenter
* Cert 3 in carpentry or equivalent qualification
* Experience in luxury builds, renovations, and extensions preferred
* Knowledge of building codes and regulations
* Proficient in using hand and power tools
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
* Strong understanding of safety procedures and guidelines
* Excellent problem‐solving and time‐management skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‐paced environment
* Competitive salary package ranging from $75,000 to $95,000 plus superannuation
