Team Leader – VicPol (Onsite)
As part of our Community Services division, for our VicPol contract, you’ll be central to helping us deliver the important work that really matters. In this role, you’ll guide, empower and uplift a team who support customers and the community every day. You’ll create a secure and inclusive environment, drive performance through meaningful coaching, and strengthen the connection between team members and our purpose. You’ll also partner closely with Operations Managers to ensure your team is informed, engaged and supported.
Responsibilities
- Lead your team with care, empathy and clear expectations
- Coaching team members with regular catch‑ups, feedback and side‑by‑side support
- Celebrate team wins and recognize individual growth and contribution
- Manage real‑time performance to meet service levels and quality targets
- Support safety by identifying risks, encouraging a speak‑up culture and reporting incidents
- Collaborate with Operations Managers to align workforce planning and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Experience leading people in a service‑focused environment
- Strong communication skills and a warm, inclusive leadership style
- Confidence coaching others and supporting performance uplift
- A proactive approach to safety, wellbeing and risk awareness
- Ability to manage KPIs, schedules and real‑time operational needs
- Understanding of compliance, policies and professional standards
