Role summary
In this role, you\'ll: Support the Tow Truck Driver in responding to unplanned incidents across designated road networks, with the priority of restoring normal traffic conditions as quickly and safely as possible.
Responsibilities
* Delivering rapid on-road response to incidents and assisting motorists, working collaboratively with the Tow Truck Driver and emergency services to safely and efficiently restore traffic flow.
* Undertaking traffic control duties, supporting lane closures or changes, and removing debris, all while maintaining a strong focus on safety and operational standards.
* Conducting vehicle safety checks and completing a variety of manual tasks, including refuelling vehicles, operating power tools, and assisting with heavy tow and recovery operations.
* Addressing routine issues by applying established guidelines and procedures and working with supervisors and managers to resolve more complex situations to minimise risk and achieve operational outcomes.
There are three ongoing full-time positions available in Rozelle.

About you
You are a safety-conscious and driven individual with a strong work ethic and high level of integrity. You perform well in fast-paced environments, demonstrate initiative, and are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Qualifications
* A current, unrestricted NSW driver's licence
* Traffic Controller accreditations (desirable but not essential), including:
* Implement Traffic Control Plans
* Prepare Work Zones
* A current First Aid Certificate (desirable but not essential)
* A willingness to complete any required licences, training, or certifications
You must be flexible and available to work on a 24-hour rotating roster, which includes shift work, late nights, early mornings, weekends, and public holidays. Occasional extended hours at short notice may also be required.
