We are seeking an experienced Body Technician to join our team in Newcastle, NSW. As a key member of our repair facility, you will be responsible for assessing and repairing damaged vehicles to the highest standards.
The ideal candidate will have trade qualifications, mechanical knowledge, and excellent technical skills. You will work closely with our Parts Interpreter to ensure accurate estimates and efficiently manage workflow.
Responsibilities
* Determine the extent of vehicle damage and develop a plan for restoration.
* Maintain and utilize the chassis crush effectively.
* Treat equipment and tools with care and respect.
* Advise on additional parts required beyond initial quotes.
* Coordinate with workshop colleagues to optimize workflow.
* Notify management of product shortages affecting production.
* Review daily schedules to meet timeframes.
