Requirements
We expect you will have achieved or be nearing the completion of relevant certificates and have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. An attractive salary will be offered, depending on your qualifications and experience, in line with market rates.

Necessary skills include:
* Lodging DA Applications onto the portal, managing the DA process, preparing Statement of Enviroments, Waste Management Plans, etc.
* Co-ordinate with subconsultants, including heritage, bushfire, stormwater, structural, civil, surveyors, arborists.
* Ability to perform detailed documentation / drawings for waterproofing, flashing, detailing, detailed sections, windows, etc.
* Able to perform site inspections to perform onsite measurements of existing buildings.
* Highly proficient in 2D AutoCAD, versions 2009 to 2014, using paper and model space, and maintain our drafting standards and drawing office practices.
* Able to visualise architectural plans and prepare preliminary outlines of structural elements to assist designers.
* A high level of attention to detail, accurate and able to problem solve in the shortest possible time.
* Extensive practical experience in the NSW Home Building Industry, including knowledge of the BCA.
* Enthusiastic and self-motivated team worker with high-level organisational skills in order to work independently and meet strict work deadlines.
* Experienced in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe.
* Proficient in spoken and written English, able to interact and communicate effectively at all levels with staff and clients and participate in the continuing growth of our company.
* Able to commence work as soon as possible.

We are looking for a Plans and Permits officer to join our team. Our firm primarily specialises in the architectural design of residential buildings, including dwellings and medium-density construction. The majority of work will relate to existing buildings that have been damaged by fires, tree impacts and vehicle impacts. Part of the role would include lodging to council portals and preparing documentation relating to permits.
