About the role
As an effective member in a busy team environment, the Receptionist is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to our Intensive Care Unit team and visitors to the Intensive Care Unit.
Key responsibilities
* Providing a welcoming and inclusive environment to all patients and visitors.
* Answering the telephone to address queries.
* Greeting visitors at reception.
* Preparation of files and patient lists for daily admissions.
* Liaising with patients, visitors, Intensive Care Unit and other hospital staff.
What we're looking for
* Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong administrative, clerical, and reception experience in confidential environments, preferably healthcare.
* Skilled in planning, developing, and implementing systems to support efficient unit operations and activities.
* Strong communication and liaison skills with the ability to assist, advise, and respond to routine issues across all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
* Detail-oriented team player with the ability to work collaboratively while remaining self-directed and organised.
