Plant Technician (Level 2) - Electrical / Mechanical
Generation & Development | Power Station Operations
We're seeking a skilled Plant Technician (Level 2) to join an energy asset owner, supporting safe, reliable, and efficient power station operations.
In this role, you'll carry out hands‐on maintenance and operational work across plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with all HSE requirements and operational standards while helping maintain asset integrity and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine and non‐routine maintenance on plant and equipment
* Fault find and support resolution of equipment/process failures
* Operate within PTW systems as Permit Acceptor
* Support shutdowns, outages, and minor project work
* Ensure compliance with HSE, operational policies, and procedures
* Contribute to incident investigations and continuous improvement
About you
* Trade qualified with relevant electrical/mechanical licence
* Experience in DCS operations and CMMS systems
* Strong fault‐finding and problem‐solving skills
* Experience with Permit to Work systems and HS&E compliance
* Ability to read technical drawings and documentation
* Strong safety focus and team collaboration mindset
* \"C\" Class Driver's Licence required
