Marketing & Fundraising Advisory Committee Member – Endometriosis Australia
This is a rare opportunity to contribute your expertise to Australia's peak body transforming the lives of those affected by endometriosis.
Shape national marketing and fundraising strategy
Strengthen awareness, education and advocacy across Australia
Advisory committee role | Flexible location
Endometriosis Australia is a national peak body committed to improving awareness, education, research and advocacy for the estimated one million Australians living with this chronic and often invisible condition.
Over the past decade, we have significantly increased public understanding, influenced healthcare policy, and helped reduce the average diagnosis time from 7–12 years to 6.5 years. As we continue to grow our impact, we are seeking an experienced Marketing & Fundraising Advisory Committee Member to help guide our strategic direction.
About the Role
As a member of the Marketing & Fundraising Committee (M&FC), you will provide strategic advice to the Board on national marketing, communications and fundraising initiatives that align with Endometriosis Australia's Strategic Plan.
You will help ensure our awareness campaigns, education programs and fundraising activities are impactful, evidence‐based and community‐centred—supporting our mission to improve the lives of those affected by endometriosis.
Key Responsibilities
In this advisory capacity, you will:
* Provide strategic direction on marketing, fundraising and awareness campaigns
* Support the development and oversight of marketing budgets
* Advise on communication strategies that elevate national awareness of endometriosis
* Review processes, partnerships and fundraising activities for effectiveness and alignment
* Collaborate with EA staff to support implementation of approved plans
* Contribute to Board submissions, policy recommendations and strategic initiatives
* Monitor stakeholder feedback to inform continuous improvement
* Strengthen cross‐committee collaboration to support organisational goals
Meetings are held bi-monthly virtually. Committee members work closely with Directors, staff and external partners.
Who We're Looking For
You are a strategic thinker with experience in one or more of the following:
* Marketing, brand, or communications strategy
* Community engagement or awareness campaigns
* Not‐for‐profit governance or advisory roles
You bring sound judgement, a collaborative mindset and a commitment to improving outcomes for people living with endometriosis. Experience in women's health, chronic disease or advocacy organisations is highly valued.
Why Join Us
Your expertise will directly influence national awareness, education and fundraising efforts—helping drive systemic change and long‐term impact for the endometriosis community.
This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a mission‐driven organisation, work alongside passionate leaders and advocates, and help shape the future of endometriosis awareness and support in Australia.
