The Senior Social Worker – Inpatient Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) provides comprehensive psychosocial assessment, counselling interventions (individual and group) and complex psychological support to children & adolescents, parental guardians and their relatives accessing services in the Statewide CAMHS Inpatient Unit at Bloomfield Hospital Campus. The role is an integral part of the multidisciplinary team and provides high level clinical advice on the psychosocial management of children & adolescents admitted to the unit.
As a Level 4 Senior Social Worker in this position, you will work collaboratively with a highly motivated, skilled and collaborative CAMHS Inpatient MDT, which includes Child Psychiatry, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Specialty Nursing and other health professionals. The Inpatient CAMHS MDT is dedicated to assessing, treating and ongoing evaluation of children, adolescents and their families who are experiencing serious impacts on their mental health and emotional well‑being.
