WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
* This role is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing the mechanical systems and components across Paddington Operations' mining operations, site services and dewatering, in a safe and efficient manner.
* Regular inspections of the work area to identify hazards, damage and defects.
* Basic repairs and servicing of pumps and compressors.
* Installation and maintenance of pipelines and associated equipment as directed.
* Assist with Butt and Electrofusion welding of plastic pipes.
* Diagnosis of faults and breakdowns.
* Undertaking repairs and component changeouts, where required.
* Regular inspections of tools and equipment, ensuring good working order.
ABOUT YOU
* Valid unrestricted Western Australian Driver's License (Essential )
* Poly welding ticket (Highly Regarded).
* Previous experience in an Open-Pit/Cut mining environment (Desirable).
* Certifications in Forklift, EWP, and CN Crane operations (Desirable).
* Basic computer skills (Desirable).
* Open to applicants with experience as a Polywelder, Boilermaker, Maintenance Tech, Fitter, or Trade Assistant

* Receive up to $5k site allowance per annum, depending on your site location.
* Receive up to 10% short-term incentive payment (STIP) of your base salary.

* A fully covered Death and Total & Permanent Disability (TPD) insurance or allowance up to $2.4k.
* Pro-rata long service leave (LSL) after just 5 years of service and be entitled to 13 weeks paid LSL after 10 years of service.
