About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support a highly regarded Senior Partner and their team. This is a varied and fast‐paced role that will see you become a trusted right‐hand support, combining traditional legal assistant responsibilities with executive‐level support duties.
Responsibilities
* Manage complex diaries, meetings and scheduling
* Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
* Prepare, edit and format legal documents and correspondence
* Manage monthly billing, time entry, expense reconciliation and financial administration
* Open and close matters, conduct conflict checks and maintain accurate client records
* Utilise billing and practice management systems to support the efficient running of matters
* Manage electronic and physical files throughout the matter lifecycle
* Coordinate document management through the firm's file management systems
* Liaise with clients and key stakeholders on behalf of the Partner
* Support business development initiatives, events and presentations
* Provide high‐level executive support to ensure the smooth running of the practice
Required Skills
* 3+ years' experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary or Executive Assistant within a legal or professional services environment
* Previous experience with billing, time entry and matter management processes
* Exposure to legal practice management and document management systems such as iManage, Aderant, Elite 3E or similar
* Strong diary management and organisational skills
* Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
* Experience supporting senior stakeholders
* A proactive approach and ability to anticipate needs
* Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence managing competing priorities
Pay range and compensation package
* Up to $100,000 package - Depending on experience
