Fire Safety Specialist Role
This role involves supporting fire safety compliance, delivering staff training and contributing to the protection of patients, visitors and staff across our hospital campus.
* Develop and deliver fire safety education programs for hospital employees.
* Collaborate with colleagues on fire safety compliance tasks including annual statements.
* Conduct inspections, audits and risk assessments to ensure a safe environment.
* Respond to emergency situations and assist in implementing procedures.
* Maintain accurate records of passive fire management systems.
Key Requirements:
* Possess Fire Safety Officer certification or be working towards completion.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) is highly desirable.
* Substantial experience in fire safety within a relevant setting.
* In-depth knowledge of fire regulations, building codes and compliance standards.
