The team in Fyshwick is looking for a Warehouse Operator to join the team.
This is a full-time role, working 7am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
* Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials, checking for accuracy and verifying the condition of the items.
* Ensure all deliveries are properly documented and logged in the inventory management system.
* Safely and efficiently store goods and materials in designated locations within the warehouse.
* Pick and pack orders based on customer requests or internal requisitions.
* Regularly update and maintain inventory records, including stock levels, stock movement, and expiration dates (if applicable).
* Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventory audits.
* Prepare shipments for outbound delivery and coordinate with shipping carriers or logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
* Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools, following safety protocols.
Requirements
* 1+ years' experience in warehousing and/or distribution
* Forklift license is a must; experience with counterbalance and high reach is preferable
* A strong commitment to safety practices
* Team player with a positive attitude
* Well organised with a proactive approach
* Eager to learn with a growth mindset
* Energetic and sociable, capable of working within a tight-knit team
