Support Worker Role
We are seeking Support Workers to join our teams in Children Services, providing personalized support for individuals with disabilities.
About the Job
This is a dynamic role that involves working with individuals across age groups, assisting with personal care and daily living skills. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and have a passion for supporting people with disabilities.
A Day in the Life of a Support Worker
* Assist with personal care and daily living skills such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Plan and attend appointments and activities for social interaction and skill development.
* Complete daily case notes, admin tasks, and incident reports.
Requirements
* Current NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to drive.
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
* A paid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* A National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDSWC).
* Willingness to provide consent to be listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR).
* Qualifications in Disability Services, Community Services or Individual Support are highly regarded but not essential.
