North West Asbestos & Demolition Solutions is seeking experienced Asbestos & Demolition Technicians and Supervisors to join our team. With our head office based in Broome, we undertake commercial, government and mining projects across the Pilbara and Kimberley regions.
What you'll be doing
The successful applicants will work across a range of projects including:
* Asbestos removal works
* Demolition works
* Commercial, mining and government projects
* Remote and regional site works
* General labouring activities
* Site safety processes and safety documentation
* Waste segregation and lawful disposal
Supervisor applicants will also be responsible for:
* Supervising crews onsite
* Coordinating daily work and scheduling
* Ensuring compliance with SWMS, ARCPs and site procedures
* Liaising with clients, contractors and management
* Leading toolbox meetings and maintaining safety standards
* Assisting with project planning and reporting
What we're looking for
Applicants must have Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa authorisation to work in Australia.
Technicians
* Previous asbestos removal and/or demolition experience preferred
* White Card
* Current driver's license
* Ability to work in physically demanding environments
* Strong work ethic and reliability
* Willingness to travel and work remotely when required
Supervisors
* Demonstrated experience as a Supervisor in the asbestos removal and/or demolition industry
* Strong technical knowledge of asbestos management and demolition procedures
* Strong understanding of WA asbestos and demolition compliance requirements
* Excellent organisation and communication skills
* Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications
* Proficient in risk assessment and development of safe work method statements
* Relevant trade qualifications
* Willingness to travel and work remotely when required

Role Location
This role is open to applicants based in Broome, Port Hedland, Karratha and Newman, and surrounding regions. FIFO/DIDO options may be considered for the right candidate.
