Job Description
As a specialist nurse in our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to children and families. Your primary responsibility will be to support the establishment of the CYMHS North Head to Health Kids Tasmania service, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver individual and group secondary level mental health interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake assessments, care planning, and delivery of individual and group interventions to children and families.
* Develop and support collaborative care partnerships with service providers across primary health, child health, and parenting services.
* Collect and review client and service outcome data to improve client outcomes.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
* A Registered Nurse qualification from the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Current Working with Children Registration.
* Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role, which must remain current and valid at all times.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in an area relevant to the role.
* Postgraduate qualification or working towards a postgraduate qualification relevant to the role.
