our mental health service comprises four distinct units, providing a range of specialised care options for patients with various mental health conditions. this includes a 20-bed general adult acute mental health unit, a 6-bed short-stay unit, a 15-bed older persons' unit, and a 22-bed private ward, offering a variety of clinical areas to work within
* we are seeking a registered nurse with a bachelor of science (nursing) or equivalent qualification and current registration with ahpra to join our team as a casual mental health nurse
as a valued member of our inter-disciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to establish positive relationships with patients, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds and cultures. you will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and person-centred evidence-based care, as well as supervising and preceptoring enrolled nurses, graduates, and students
requirements:
