Hunter, NSW, Australia. Allied Health Assistant – Expression of Interest. Accessible Sports Program. Casual shifts available Mon‐Thurs from 3pm to 6:30pm.
About the Role
At Cerebral Palsy Alliance, we value diversity, foster an inclusive culture and champion equitable opportunities. As an Allied Health Assistant (AHA), you will work directly with clients to build their capacity for movement and mobility. You will lead both individual and group sports programmes, including athletics, basketball, swimming, football, and other activities across the local region. You will be supported by the multidisciplinary team of CPA therapists who conduct initial assessments, and you will deliver the sports programmes as the AHA. You will also work alongside Para Athletes on the team.
Responsibilities
* Deliver individual and group sports programmes for clients.
* Assist with and/or implement therapy‐related activities to enhance client outcomes.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support client participation.
* Travel to various locations where sports programmes are conducted.
Qualifications
* Current driver's licence and own vehicle.
* NDIS Worker Check and Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain them).
* Relevant experience in the disability or sports sector.
* CertIV in Allied Health Assistance, or 3rd/4th year student of an allied health degree, or equivalent experience.

Safety and Physical Requirements
CPA requires a medium level of physical functionality with some inherent requirements. Applicants should be aware of these requirements and provide information about any pre‐existing injuries or illnesses that may impact their ability to fulfil the role.
