Our Technology Associate Program is designed to support individuals from non-traditional backgrounds looking to enter the technology workforce for the first time, in roles within Engineering, Data & Analytics or Cybersecurity. As a Technology Associate, you would be placed into an established squad aligned to your skills and interests. Here, you would have the opportunity to apply what you have learnt during your studies to actively contribute to meaningful work.

Additionally, you would regularly connect with other members of the technology early career talent community, as well as receive dedicated coaching and mentoring to grow your professional skills.

As a Technology Associate, you may work part-time or full-time hours depending on your preferences.

About the role – technical skills:

Depending on whether you’re looking to enter Engineering, Data & Analytics or Cybersecurity, you could expect exposure to some of the following as a Technology Associate.

Engineering:

- Analysis, design, development and testing.

- System, user and operational acceptance test support.

- Maintaining code quality.

- Developing applications with .Net, Angular, JavaScript, CSS and HTML.

- Understanding of microservice architecture and API design patterns.

- Creation and interpretation of design documentation.

Data & Analytics:

- Designing and creating new algorithms for the analysis of data to address project requirements.

- Performing advanced data analysis to assess requirements and select appropriate algorithms.

- Employing AI or knowledge-based approaches to evaluate the performance of models.

- Assisting with the deployment into cloud services to run machine learning workloads.

- Supporting the development of data governance capabilities, frameworks and metadata management.

Cybersecurity:

- Reviewing, interpreting and reporting on intrusion attempts.

- Reviewing, interpreting and reporting on security incidents.

- Reviewing, approving and reporting on identity management.

- Interpreting and contributing to application deployment through a security lens to proactively identify vulnerabilities.

- Participating in cyber related education sessions, both internally and externally.
