The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth through proactive business development, client relationship management, and the delivery of high‐quality workforce solutions across Melbourne's construction sector.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys winning new business, building lasting client relationships, and managing the recruitment process from initial engagement through to successful placement.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across the construction industry
* Build, manage, and grow long‐term relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
* Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities
* Act as the primary point of contact for key client accounts
* Manage client expectations and workforce requirements while ensuring exceptional service delivery
* Conduct market mapping and industry research to identify growth opportunitiesSource, screen, interview, and onboard high‐quality candidates
* Manage the end‐to‐end recruitment process from attraction through to placement
* Work closely with operations teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project outcomes
* Deliver outstanding communication, responsiveness, and follow‐through
* Contribute to team targets and overall business growth objectives
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Previous experience in recruitment, labour hire, construction, sales, business development, or account management
* Strong business development and relationship‐building capabilities
* A highly motivated, results‐driven, and target‐focused mindset
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational and problem‐solving abilities
