Salary - $85,035.86 pro rata + super total package plus weekly meal allowance provided
About the role
Recognise Support Services is seeking a Live in Carer on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster, to provide direct support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in the Busselton Greater Region. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support under supervision and instruction from our senior team across several of our houses.
What you'll be doing
* Providing 24/7 live-in care and support to clients with various disabilities on a 7 days on / 7 days off roster
* Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
* Accompanying clients to medical appointments, social activities, and community engagements when other carers are not available
* Working with our Management team to implement individualised support plans to help clients achieve their goals
* Fostering a safe, comfortable, and enriching living environment for clients
* Collaborating with the broader care team to ensure seamless service delivery
* Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records
What we're looking for
* Relevant experience in disability support or aged care
* Minimum of 1+ years of disability support or aged care experience is required
* Demonstrated ability to provide person-centred, empathetic care
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, flexibility, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others
* A current First Aid certificate and National Police Clearance
* Disability Worker Screening Check or Working with Vulnerable People check must be obtained within 3 months
* A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required
* Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification is required at application
