What you'll own
You will take the lead on end‐to‐end procurement and contract strategy, including:
* Leading complex sourcing projects from concept through to contract execution
* Driving tendering activities (RFT, RFQ, RFP) and commercial negotiations
* Partnering with leaders to shape procurement planning and strategy
* Establishing supplier panels, contracts and purchasing arrangements
* Embedding best practice procurement governance and probity
* Identifying opportunities for innovation, efficiency and value creation
* Providing trusted, expert advice across a diverse stakeholder group
Who you are
You're more than a procurement specialist, you're a trusted advisor and strategic operator.
You bring:
* Strong experience in procurement, strategic sourcing and contract management
* A proven ability to deliver in government or highly regulated environments (highly valued)
* Deep understanding of VGPB frameworks, state purchasing contracts and public sector governance
* Confidence leading complex tenders and negotiations
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing capability
* A sharp eye for risk, compliance and commercial outcomes
