Contracts Administrator
Job Type: Full Time Permanent | Location: Queensland | Categories: Administration, Commercial / Legal / Contracts
Seymour Whyte is delivering Coomera Connector Stage 1 South, a key infrastructure project improving transport links between Logan City and the Gold Coast. This stage will ease congestion on the M1 and provide residents in growing areas such as Helensvale and Coomera with an alternative route.
Responsibilities
* Assist with tender analysis, subcontract preparation, variations, pricing and negotiations.
* Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors and suppliers during tender and delivery phases.
* Monitor project cash flow, payments and Security of Payment compliance.
* Contribute to internal and external reporting processes.
* Provide administrative support to the project team and assist with reporting to senior stakeholders.
* Support procurement activities and site purchasing requirements.
* Maintain document control, filing systems and project administration processes.
* Maintain awareness of relevant legislation, industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications
* Relevant formal qualifications in financial or commercial administration (Diploma or Certificate) or experience in commercial/contracts administration within a principal contractor environment.
* Experience with procurement, commercial, financial and cost management processes and systems.
* Understanding of client head contracts, subcontract terms and relevant legislation.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Current driver's licence and own transport.
