About the Role
We are seeking a multi-skilled tradesperson with trade qualifications in Painting and a minimum of six years' experience in both painting and plastering.
The applicant must have experience applying a wide range of paint types and finishes to indoor and outdoor structures. Experience with varnish, epoxy, and wallpaper is an advantage. You will also need solid experience in plastering.
We are looking for someone who can produce consistent, high-quality work. The successful candidate must be able to plan a job process, work autonomously, and complete jobs on time. We complete works all over metropolitan Melbourne.
A competitive remuneration (plus company vehicle) will be offered based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare surfaces and apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to maintain high standards of aesthetics and durability.
* Good colour matching skills (desirable – training provided).
* Conduct patching, repair work, and cut-out tasks as necessary.
* Demonstrate familiarity with ornate plastering techniques.
* Work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines while ensuring consistent high-quality results.
* Adhere to safety protocols and best practices on the job site.
The Successful Candidate Must Have:
* Trade-qualified Painter (Certificate III or equivalent).
* A minimum of six years of professional painting and plastering experience.
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Reliable, professional, and self-motivated.
* Experience with insurance-related jobs is preferred.
* Tech-savvy with the ability to use cloud-based apps (training provided).
* Flexibility with working hours to accommodate project needs.
Requirements:
* Current driver's license.
* Current Police Check.
* Current Working with Children's Check.
* White Card.
* Trade references available upon request.
