About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Fitter to carry out fault finding, equipment repairs, installations, commissioning, and decommissioning of mechanical assets across water and wastewater treatment plants and associated systems.
This is a hands-on, field-based role offering variety, stability, and plenty of overtime for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced, essential service environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine, preventive, and reactive maintenance on water and wastewater treatment and delivery infrastructure
Undertake mechanical fault finding, repairs, and replacements of pumps, valves, gearboxes, conveyors, and rotating equipment
Support installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of new and existing assets
Work collaboratively with electrical, civil, and control system teams
Ensure all activities are performed safely and in line with company and client standards
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and HSE excellence
What You'll Bring
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Fitter & Turner
Experience within water infrastructure, utilities, or industrial environments (highly regarded)
Proven ability in fault diagnosis and repair of mechanical systems
Strong commitment to safety and quality
Current driver's licence and White Card required
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
