Full training is provided so, along with the above, all you need is the curiosity and motivation to learn the process of collecting blood and biological product.ResponsibilitiesGreet and interview potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability to donateCreate a donor experience they'll love—and want to come backComplete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin testsSet up machines and collections equipmentInsert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and plateletsMonitor donors post-donation and assist them with rebooking their next donationWork collaboratively to achieve collection targetsA day in the centre could see you performing these tasks with support from paid and flexible self-paced training to ensure you are well supported.RequirementsBe comfortable with needles and blood/biological materialsOccasionally lift between 9-22.7kgsSupport and foster a fantastic team cultureFrequently stand, walk and bend to set up and pack down machines and blood productsBe flexible to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Sunday, including weekends and afternoon shiftsBenefits And WellbeingMinimum 5 weeks annual leave (up to 6 weeks)Access to salary packaging with an option to package up to $15,900 for living expenses and $2,650 for meals and entertainment14 weeks paid parental leave - no waiting period for either parentEmployee assistance program available 24/7Plus many more benefitsIs Lifeblood your reason?
