Job Summary
Luxury units, ultra-high end finish in the heart of Burleigh Heads (4220). Work closely with the site team on the build aspects and project coordination for a 2-year project at early works stage. Very little contracts administration – this is a build focus engineering position.
Responsibilities
* Design management and coordination from structures and piling through to finishes
* Project coordinating & monitoring activities
* Providing QA
* Promote high levels of Health and Safety
* Reading and interpreting plans
* RFI management
* Managing contracts and contract documentation
* Liaising with Architects and other consultants as required
* Tracking and forecasting construction progress
* Manage building certification process for OC
Qualifications
* MUST have Australian construction experience
* Ideally a degree in Construction Management or Engineering
* A minimum of 4/5 years+ experience working in a Site or Engineering / Project Coordination capacity for an Australian builder or developer
* Must have worked for an established building contractor or developer
* Will have worked on large construction projects from $50M+
* Will have worked on unit projects in Australia or a Site / Project Engineering capacity
* Experience working for either top or second tier construction companies in Australia
