Clinical Area Manager Role
This senior leadership position is responsible for leading and developing a multi-disciplinary team to provide primary care and support for individuals accessing mental health services in Tasmania.
* The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing mental health services, with a strong background in clinical governance and risk management.
* A demonstrated ability to lead a team and facilitate collaboration between various stakeholders is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team to provide primary care and support for all accessing mental health services in Tasmania.
* Oversee the development and implementation of clinical, financial, and administrative systems and processes.
* Ensure continuous quality improvement and risk management within the MMHC teams.
Requirements
* Must have one of the following: Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Mental Health Nurse, OR AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (or working towards).
* Minimum of 2 years' experience managing a mental health service.
* Demonstrated experience working within a recovery-based model.
* Demonstrated expertise in managing a multi-disciplinary service delivery team, with the ability to lead the coordination of care for people with complex needs.
