Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning activities across complex high-voltage installations in Tasmania.
The Job Description
* Lead commissioning activities for primary and secondary systems, including EHV infrastructure.
* Coordinate FAT and SAT processes to verify system integrity and functionality.
* Develop and execute commissioning plans, test procedures, and completion documentation.
* Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and client stakeholders.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
* Substantial commissioning experience in transmission/substation environments.
* Strong working knowledge of protection systems, SCADA, and IEC 61850 protocols.
* Demonstrated expertise in brownfield integration and HV energisation processes.
* A strong focus on safety and compliance with WHS and environmental protocols.
* Able to work autonomously and under pressure in field-based conditions.
* White Card, C-Class Driver's License, and National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain).
