Senior DevOps Engineer | NV2 Cleared | Defence Program
We're partnering with a major defence-focused technology environment delivering secure, mission-critical platforms that support high-impact national programs. This is an opportunity for a skilled DevOps Engineer to work across modern software factory platforms, Kubernetes environments, secure infrastructure, and cloud technologies within a highly collaborative engineering team.

The Opportunity
You'll play a key role in designing, deploying, and supporting secure DevSecOps and platform engineering capabilities that enable engineering teams to deliver software efficiently and securely within complex environments.
This role offers strong exposure to:
* Kubernetes and K3S environments
* Secure software factory platforms
* Azure infrastructure and services
* Containerisation technologies
* Air-gapped and high-security environments
* Enterprise tooling and platform engineering
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop and deploy secure DevSecOps platform capabilities
* Build and maintain Kubernetes/K3S environments
* Deploy and manage software services including collaboration and engineering tooling
* Support and maintain Linux (RHEL) and Windows environments
* Develop and maintain hardened system images
* Conduct testing, validation and operational support activities
* Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Bash or Python scripting
* Assist with platform engineering and service desk support activities
* Deploy and manage Azure resources and cloud services
Skills & Experience
* Strong experience within DevSecOps and Platform Engineering environments
* Hands-on Kubernetes and containerisation experience (Docker/Podman)
* Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
* Infrastructure as Code experience, ideally Ansible
* Scripting capability using Bash and/or Python
* Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience
* Active NV2 Security Clearance

* VMware experience
* Experience working within air-gapped environments
* Active Directory administration and deployment experience
