We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Gardener to join our Parks and Gardens team, helping to maintain and enhance the City's parks, gardens, reserves and public spaces for our community to enjoy.

About the Role
* Maintaining gardens, lawns, street trees, verges and public spaces to a high presentation standard.
* Identifying and controlling weeds, pests and plant diseases using appropriate treatment methods.
* Conducting routine park inspections, litter collection and reporting maintenance or safety issues.
* Assisting with irrigation repairs, construction projects and major maintenance works across the City.
Role Requirements
* Knowledge of horticultural practices and experience using and maintaining parks and gardens equipment.
* Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and members of the public.
* A commitment to workplace health and safety, including safe work practices and PPE compliance.
* A current First Aid Certificate, with horticulture qualifications and an MR driver's licence highly regarded.
