AEA is seeking an experienced and driven Hospital Administrator/Director to take full accountability for our emergency hospital in Canberra, ACT. This is a true leadership role—owning performance, leading people, and driving operational excellence in a fast‐paced, high‐impact environment.

About the Role
As Hospital Administrator/Director, you are accountable for the overall success of the hospital, including:
* Leading hospital strategy, operations, and performance delivery
* Managing financial performance (P&L, budgets, growth initiatives)
* Building and leading a high‐performing, engaged team
* Driving operational efficiency and service excellence
* Ensuring the highest standards of patient care and client experience
* Maintaining strong WHS, compliance, and risk frameworks
About You
We're looking for a capable, values‐driven leader with:
* 7+ years' experience leading people and complex operations
* Strong commercial and financial acumen
* A track record of improving performance, not just maintaining it
* Exceptional people leadership and stakeholder management skills
* High emotional intelligence and the ability to lead in fast‐paced, high‐pressure environments
Experience in veterinary sector or healthcare is advantageous, but not essential.
